Zone Advanced Protection Systems Pty Ltd (Zone)
Zone develops and distributes a range of perimeter security software & hardware products designed for the counter terrorism and critical infrastructure protection marketplace. Its historical and existing clients include, BP & Mobil, ABM AMRO, and the Australian Federal Police (AFP). Hardware products include video analytics, HD CCTV and digital IP cameras and digital video recorders.
The business has developed a multi sensor control platform which integrates and co-ordinates a wide range of perimeter sensing devices from cameras, thermal sensors, seismic, ground radar and access devices to name a few. It has developed the mobile command equipment for the AFP to provide rapid deployment of a virtual perimeter in high risk environments.
Helmsman has partnered with the management team and founding owners of Zone to buy 100% of the company. The company is targeting the commercial and corporate market with its products several of which have been restricted to government only installations prior to our investment.
